A Very Special Weekend At Balsam Hill Farm
The events of this weekend were some of the biggest reasons we chose to be in business here at Balsam Hill Farm. On Saturday, we witnessed the kindness of a local Belfast family who purchased a second wreath and passed it on in the spirit of the season to another family shopping at the farm. Today, another local family purchased multiple trees so they could pass them on for other families to enjoy. The kindness and generosity in the spirit of the season was very moving. Balsam Hill Farm will be open again this week using the honor system Monday through Friday, December 15th-19th for our customers who are not able to visit the farm during the weekends. There is a nice selection of pre-cut fragrant balsam fir Christmas trees still available and a limited selection of Maine-made wreaths to complete your holiday decor. For this event, the choose-and-cut fields are closed. Please do not cut trees from the field. Please place your full payment of check or cash in the red Honor Box at the entrance to the pre-cut area. There are signs at the Honor Box to guide you. Twine will be available on dry days to assist you in getting your tree safely home. Thank you so much to all our customers and friends who have made the season so special. We truly appreciate all of you. Happy Holidays!
